Quote: “Your experiences and your relationships all serve as mirrors that reflect back to you the opportunity to meet yourself.”

It’s true that life often seems like a bombardment of challenges, where something within us wishes it could all be easier. Yes, sometimes it’s just… exhausting, isn’t it?

Are we the same?

I wonder if it’s the same for you as it is for me, where what I ultimately realize is that these struggles on the surface are simply exposing a deeper struggle. This deeper struggle is not a curse, but an opportunity to address something profound about the human journey, about our relationships, and about the real wounds we might have.

Everything you experience is a constant invitation that mirrors the relationship you have with yourself. Whatever the surface ‘problem’ is, whatever the desire you might have, it all points back to this opportunity to heal the relationship you have with… You.

This, of course, is not a journey with an end, it’s a continuous spiral inward with unlimited depths of love waiting to be experienced, or love waiting to be allowed into your Life.

Genuine Spirituality

Again, maybe you’re like me, where something in you is deeply touched by spiritual insights that cut through the mind’s noise; in some way making it obvious that the life you’re living is actually a profoundly meaningful one.

Not only is your life meaningful, but there is this importance, this urgency to wake up to something more real and true about what you are.

You see, in my personal exploration of diving into wisdom and insight across many different spiritual traditions, I’m astounded by the single message they all share. It’s like 100 different languages that all beg for us as humans, to “be still, and… truly meet yourself.”

There is this message that, in some way, says…

  • “My dear, the life you’re living is sacred, and you have a real opportunity to discover something beautiful, profound, and… deeply healing.”

If we can stay true to the heart of this message, not getting lost in the spiritual woo-woo or the human dogmas, then we simply cannot fail in connecting more deeply with the “real prize” of life and being human.

Find the Right Mirrors

Your experiences and your relationships all serve as mirrors that reflect back to you the opportunity to meet yourself. Sure, it can be rather difficult at times; I get that. However, such difficulty is the result of our resistance that wants to hide from the mirror.

Also, and importantly… there is great difficulty found in our clinging to mirrors that don’t really serve, while also avoiding (or running away from) the mirrors that would serve.

While you will encounter difficult mirrors, which are quite necessary, it’s important that you also seek out helpful and supportive mirrors.

This was a great difficulty for me at one point in my life, where I didn’t feel like those around me really cared about this sacred journey, and I couldn’t connect with them on the level my heart craved. I felt starved, I felt unsupported, I felt… alone.

The solution, of course, was to first acknowledge this pain, realizing just how deeply important this was to me, that I find the right mirrors for my journey; while releasing old mirrors that simply didn’t serve.

This is very much like wanting to change your life, and realizing the people you are hanging out with, don’t support your desire for change. A drug addict who doesn’t want to be a drug addict, but continues to hang out with their drug addict friends, will have a terribly difficult time transitioning into a better version of themselves.

Heart-Based Humans…

Because I know how important this is, and the value it adds to our journey, is the reason why I created the Deep Diver’s Group (DDG). Sure, it’s not for everyone. But who IS it for…?

It’s for heart-based humans who crave depth, intimacy, and genuine support on their journey of becoming a more grounded, loving, and playful version of themselves.

I “hold space” for us, every week on Thursdays, to come together and look beyond the mind’s noise and connect with something more real and true. Plus, there are members supporting other members, holding space for each other to meet themselves in a powerful and intentional way.

For those who enjoy online courses, audio or video recordings, there are hundreds of hours of support materials I created for you to explore.

Some people already have a beautiful community of supportive mirrors, and some… do not – but wish they had.

If that’s you, if you wish you felt more supported, if you desire more depth, focus, and less… of a painful struggle, then the Deep Diver’s Group just might be perfect for you.

Let’s Talk… and possibly dive deep together
